William Henry Cock

William Henry was born in 1843 in St Ewe, Cornwall into a farming family. He married his second wife Annie Sampson Martyn on 18.9.1875. His first wife must have married and died between 1871 and 1875.

William Henry took over the farm at St Ewe when his father John died. He also farmed in Wendron before becoming a manager of a dairy factory. (His farm in Wendron had a well in the grounds where they stored butter made on the premises.)

William played the violin and all his family were in the Chapel Choir and had trained voices.

He died on 22.10.1923 in Camborne.
